Nose: All raspberries all day.

Taste: Strawberry tart. With cream, obviously, because nothing good in life should be half-assed. Bitterness of fresh fruit and grapefruit juice comes through clean and strong, dancing with waves of something softer and creamy.

We kept thinking how perfect this would be with mushroom soup or a hamburger. Of course, we have neither of those things in the house because groceries have fallen by the wayside lately. We felt inspired to find the higher calling for this brut rose, simple but earthy mushrooms, root vegetables, soups or pastas.

E drank this again two days later, shamelessly and out of the bottle, after a long day at work. She reported notes of strawberries, joy, and sadness.
